//Congratulations!

Twenty men – teachers, businessmen, writers and pastors among them – have been named the 2012 winners of the BME Leadership Award, created to honor black men who step up to lead the community.

Together these men are engaging and reshaping Philadelphia and Detroit. With the award, the BME Challenge is providing $443,000 in funding to accelerate their work.

Hear about the projects they are leading in the videos below. We hope you’ll share them with your friends and colleagues to inspire others to strengthen their communities.

The leadership award is just one part of the BME Challenge. Read more about the challenge and the winners.
